Mikao ushi was the founder of his own form of energy healing called Reiki which means universal energy or power. Mikao was a who at a young age was both restless and possessive. he initially studied Psychology Religion Divination. Usui was so determined to attain this state that he took his Master on his Master's advice to reach enlightenment. Usui fasted for 21 days and meditated under the waterfall on Mt. Kuarama to open and purify his crown chakra in preparation for the crucial encounter with the revelation he was seeking.

Chujiro Hayashiy

Choujiro Hayashiy was one of Mikao's loyal followers who was instrumental in developing Reiki after Mikao. he was a naval officer in the Japanese Navy and over time became interested in helping people with various ailments.
