The alchemist is the one who can transform raw matter into gold beyond the dividing line between death non-physically present and the physical. The alchemist pours water liquid from one container to another takes and and distributes gives that liquid to enrich through the emotions or the essence of the soul the one who is to drink from its cup.

The alchemist prepares the soul for the final journey towards the soul's goal and liberation what it will encounter on the way. It may be a deeper conversation or action of significance that reflects and leads to a deeper understanding for that encounter with the unknown. Sharing the water of life through what is done by the alchemist to cleanse and transform and to plant a deeper insight in the one who will receive the gift to raise their energies.

In the garden tarot I have chosen to illustrate the alchemist as she is called in Swedish. The Alchemist is the synthesis of everything, hope and good will, the Angel who comes from a higher spiritual plane who shares her energy with those who are called to her. So in that way she is the totality of the seasons sown as flowering as the decomposing phase of life. The angel who shares her feelings and her deep wisdom with those she is close to and wants to call to her. She exists on all levels and planes while the alchemist is present in the present

In professional life, the Alchemist is the scientist, the doctor, the healer and therapist, the psychologist, the publisher and herbalist, who has a secret that he and she knows they possess that they can share. or the one who has some special skill and knowledge that is in their aura.

‘Upright’

The card shows balance and harmony. Considering the situation, observing more than doing. To see a whole and experience a breaking point, to be able to see beyond the capricious influence of the present with an overall mind. To come to a state of rest and see things in the right perspective. The card points to relationships and on an overall level, a higher frequency of existence as a whole for a fragment in time.

‘Reversed’

This position testifies to feeling fragmentary, fragmented and deprived of a holistic concept. Lack of holistic vision, misjudgements and misinterpretations of reality. The card shows exaggerations and the need for balancing in general. Indecisiveness and stubbornness.
